Kenneth L. Price, Managing Partner, Ph.D.
Dr. Price is an applied cultural anthropologist whose field of study ranges from rural India and academia to global business and institutional settings. As a senior engagement leader, consultant and executive coach with ThomasLeland, Ken brings his unusual perspectives and ways of connecting with people to clients across a wide range of industries and disciplines. He advises and consults with clients at the C-level regularly, but he is also very passionate about linking the leadership to the experiences of team members deeper down within their organization. Ken has worked with dozens of Global Fortune 500 companies over the years at locations around the world. He completed his doctoral degree in Anthropology from the University of Texas at Austin, where he now lives with his wife and young son.
Jörg Schmitz, Managing Partner
Jörg is a cultural anthropologist with extensive experience helping leaders and organizations navigate the challenges and opportunities of globalization. As a senior advisor and consultant, he has developed innovative approaches to intercultural management, Diversity & Inclusiveness, global talent and team optimization, and leadership development. He develops cultural transformation strategies for clients worldwide. He lives and works in East Windsor, New Jersey (USA) with his wife and daughter.
Stephan Mardyks, Managing Partner
Stephan Mardyks became CEO & Co-Founder of SMCOV in October 2010. Previously, Mardyks was Co-Chief Operating Officer of the FranklinCovey Company. Prior to FranklinCovey, Mardyks served as Senior Vice President of Global Operations for the Frontline Group, Vice President of Raytheon and the Managing Director for DOOR Training International. Stephan's educational and professional credentials include Two Graduates degrees-both from the University of Paris-10 France; one: a Graduate degree in Law, and the other, DEA-DESS Doctorate in Educational Science. Stephan received Certification as a Mediator by JAMS in Boston, Massachusetts. Stephan is recognized for his expertise in the fields of global workforce performance, cross-cultural management, strategic negotiation for multinational and government organizations, and executive coaching/private engagement for global leaders, board of directors and leadership teams.
David M.R. Covey, Managing Partner
David M. R. Covey has been CEO & Co-Founder of SMCOV since October 2010. Covey was previously the Co-Chief Operating Officer of the FranklinCovey Company. Other positions he held at FranklinCovey include: General Manager & Senior Vice President, US Sales & Delivery, President of FranklinCovey International, President of FranklinCovey Japan and Managing Director of FranklinCovey Australia. David was also employed at Procter & Gamble and American Express. Covey earned his undergraduate degree from Brigham Young University and his MBA from Harvard University.
