Kirk Bare is a Senior Consultant with ThomasLeland. With 30+ years of experience as a senior executive in the financial services industry, Kirk works with C-suite executives and their leaders to enhance their organizational, self and cultural-awareness, developing their capacity to lead through ambiguity and significant corporate change. 

A progressive and creative leader with proven success in developing business and building organizational capabilities, Kirk’s extensive experience in leading businesses through change such as transition management, merger integrations, strategic planning and organizational cultural transformation makes him uniquely qualified to support executives leading to World Class Results, Customer Loyalty and Employee Engagement.

Kirk began his career in US banking and has worked at Citibank, Wells Fargo & Company, Wachovia Bank and First Union. His diverse executive leadership roles include Consumer Banking, Commercial and Business Banking, Education Finance, Mortgage and Retail Credit Businesses, Enterprise Business Solutions, Corporate Program Office, Internal Consultant and Transition Manager. Most recently, Kirk was the Chief Operating Officer and EVP for Diversified Technology Solutions International, Inc. (DTSII) Group Philippines and DTSI US.

Kirk provides companies with world-wide differentiated competitive solutions and partners with executives to build organizational capability in both on-shore and off-shore destinations. As an executive coach, his areas of expertise include leadership development, strategic planning, change management, corporate development and continuous process improvement. 

He is a past member of the Consumer Bankers Association, SIFE USA National Advisory Board, Board Member of the Neighborhood House, American Chamber of Commerce Philippines and Business Process Association of the Philippines.

Kirk has a BA from North Carolina State University and a MBA from Duke University Fuqua School of Business. 

A married father and grandfather, Kirk and his wife make their home in Charlotte, North Carolina. An active member of his community, Kirk has worked with both the United Way local organizations in the cities he has lived and worked in across the United States and the Philippines.
