DE&I Champion Community


 

As organizations and institutions have increased their commitments to Diversity, Equity & Inclusion in recent years, the teams and individuals leading these efforts are increasingly being asked to facilitate DE&I culture change-- not an easy task! We are building a community to develop and equip DE&I Practitioners & Champions with the education, skills, support and encouragement they need to respond to these complex challenges and opportunities. 

This exciting new community is built primarily for peer-champions of DE&I; that is, anyone who is engaged and committed to advancing the DE&I culture in their organization and wants to develop themselves in this area. Of course, DE&I professionals can also benefit from membership. 

 

What is it?

Our DE&I Champion Community is an opportunity for peer champions to develop their skills and capabilities as peer facilitators and DE&I advocates. In this community, participants will:

  • Advance their facilitation and advocacy skills as peer DE&I Champions in their organizations
  • Learn from other DE&I Champions, professional facilitators, and experts about DE&I-related topics, including emerging issues
  • Receive advice, perspectives and recommendations to their specific questions, dilemmas, and critical incidents
  • Leverage content, tools, and case scenarios from The Inclusive Leadership Institute

 

How does it work?

This community is accessible through the purchase of a membership. Membership entitles community members to the following benefits:

Live sessions. Live DE&I Champion sessions will focus on relevant topics and ways to develop DE&I skills. Each virtual meeting features a particular DE&I topic, challenge or dilemma and discusses how DE&I Champions can best address and navigate them. Participants will have the opportunity to influence the focus of these sessions with their input on relevant issues and concerns.

Office hours. Participation in monthly office hours that provide the opportunity to ask about and discuss specific issues that are emerging for them and in their engagement with DE&I

On-demand coaching. Participants will be able to send in their questions and dilemmas to receive answers, suggestions and resource recommendations

Special events. Receive invitations to participate in special events on emerging DE&I topics (as well as access to replays).

Access to curated content. Access a content library with recordings, case scenarios and resources for engaging peers in building, living, and strengthening the DE&I culture in their organization.
